cross training
excellence is not a skill, it's an attitude
#cross_training
Cross training refers to the combination of different types of training (muscle strengthening, muscular endurance, explosiveness, aerobic capacity, etc.) and gives us the opportunity to take advantage of all of them in a single workout!
The easiest way to implement such a program is the circular workouts with stations and the ultimate tool to achieve this is the cross cage. A multifunction machine which consists of medecin balls, bars, scales, steps, ketlebells, ropes, straps, tires and many more which we use as stations.
if you want it, work for it
cross training
The program contains multi-joint and combination exercises for the whole body with the use of resistors (bars, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, wall balls) but also with the weight of the body. Each exercise is performed in a different station and for a specific period of time (30 ” – 60 ”) which is determined by the trainer.
All practitioners have to go through all the stations to complete the “round” which usually consists of 5-10 different stations. A program in its classic form can contain 2 to 3 such rounds and is completed with stretching and recovery.
The goal of these programs is both to strengthen and stimulate the muscles throughout the body and to increase the heart rate so that we can achieve adjustments in endurance and activation of the metabolism. They are addressed to everyone regardless of level and it is easy to adjust both the exercises in the form of variations (easier or more difficult) and the intensity of the exercises depending on the capabilities of each trainee under the guidance of the coach.
